The two big names in the NBA likely to get moved in the coming days are Hornets' point guard Chris Paul and Magic center Dwight Howard. Free agency and the trade market appears still on schedule to open Friday and it may not take long to see one, or both, on the move to new cities. The teams rumored to be most involved in talks at this stage for Paul are the Clippers, Warriors, and Celtics - the Rockets and Mavericks could also be in the running. Despite Paul's request to go to the Knicks...

Breaking news came down in the early hours of Saturday as the owners and players have reportedly reached a tentative agreement on a deal to end the NBA lockout. Nothing is official yet but once the complete deal is written up it will still take a few days for it to be presented to a vote on both sides. If the majority approve that would then bring about a period for free agency and other matters before the planned 66 game season would begin on Christmas. Obviously 2K Sports would be catch...

Today the NBPA announced they have rejected the NBA's final labor offer and have filed a notice of disclaimer. The Player's Association is disbanding, avoiding the decertification process which would have taken 45 days, and the players now become a trade organization. The court process will be a lengthy one - many analysts have op...

Now the Rams, Dolphins, and possibly Vikings and Cardinals have entered the picture while the Chiefs and Seahawks showed enough to play themselves out of it. Obviously the three teams who have yet to win are the front-runners here. The Colts and Dolphins have actually had a few gam...

Week two of the NFL season is in the books and already a few teams look like they are destined to be in the running for the top spot in the draft and with it the right to nab Stanford QB Andrew Luck. This will be something evaluated several times throughout the year as developments occur - as shown by Cam Newton even a rookie QB can make a huge impact and change the fortunes of a franchise. The Colts having lost Peyton Manning sets them up to potentially have the worst record in the leagu...
