This posting will be updated as news and content for Madden 11 hits throughout the evening of the first round as well as the second night which includes the second and third rounds. This is now “stuck” to the top of the site while the draft is takes place and rookie ratings are released. Full rookie rating analysis will go up this weekend.     The process has been so difficult for them over the years, and time consuming, they decided just to focus on the ratings this year.

    I think how it works is hes taking into consideration the movement. The strongest areas of movement he may choose to adjust. But they aren't going to just go with whatever numbers they end up being voted to.

    Are they gonna continue this rookie ratings thing into the 2nd round? coz id like to see what the vikings picks will be on and also what taylor mays will be on coz he's my favourite player in the draft. i hope the vikings get him!!

    Thomas was a good pick after trading Marshall but Tebow was taken too high

    I found the Devin McCourty pick at #27 a bit of a surprise especially with Bodden, Wilhite & Butler already on the roster. But at least BB admitted that drafting Terrence Wheatley in 2008 was a mistake with his 1st round pick this year. 2nd & 3rd rounds should be exciting. The front 7 still desperately need to be upgraded, it was very obvious last season no one is afraid of this defense anymore.

    Lower the ratings!!! just because they are first round picks dont make them 80 overalls… Eris Berry is nice but to have him as a top ten safety out the box is a bit much.. D.Brickashaw Fergusan was an 80 ovr to start his fourth season and already Okung is better than that??? Come on Donny lets keep them low

    He turned a first and a second into two second-round grades and a third. Big deal. He could've gotten Thomas without trading w/ New England. Even if you agree it was necessary to take Tebow at 25 (which it wasn't) he screwed up the Thomas part.

    I noticed that on EA's website that they are utilizing Seattle's old logo next to its picks….Is Seattle reverting back??? I know many Seahawks fans like the current uniforms, I like the old silver helmets and emerald green better….

    Really thrilled with this draft. Even when looking at impact for Madden 11 it looks like the Seahawks had the best draft. Will be doing analysis on all the teams though this weekend.

    there is no way a player in the 2nd round can be a 50 or 60 overall they are supposed to make an impact

    Most players are way to high. Some are to low though. Peters for the Falcons should be at least a 61. Not a freaking 50. How there are 3rd rounders in the 70s is beyond me. EA said last year that 70 was the same as an 80 back in the old rosters. That's almost starter good and no way are people drafted in the 3rd round projected to be day one starters. I know this is a strong draft but this is a little insane. Suh who is the best player in the draft should only be an 82. And my boy and favorite college player ever Eric Berry should only be an 80. I think he's the next Ed Reed but he hasnt taken an nfl snap yet. Almost all these guys need to be lower.

    I dont like the fans adjusting ratings at all. I'm perfectly fine with the default ratings that ea made, they seem fairly accurate. It looks like all the voting is doing is bumping all the rookies up a point or 2. I dont want a bunch of overrated rookies in madden when they havent ever stepped foot on a pro field. Do you know if the fan average is gonna be the final rating??

    why is joe haden jump(35 in vert) ,catch and acc so high …kyle wilson had 38.5 in vertical and he has lower jump also his cone drills were faster and he has lower acc and rarely does he drop a pick madden is it really because from the wac that he doesnt get a better rating do some research donny if you need help respond

    Some of these players have ratings that are WAY too high. Sam Bradford a 95 for short accuracy when that is higher than a lot of great QBs had in Madden 10?
