    HBO has picked up to series a half hour dramedy starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson called Ballers. The show is executive produced by Johnson and Mark Wahlberg. The pilot was written by Steve Levinson (Entourage) and directed by Peter Berg (Friday Night Lights, Lone Survivor).     The second season of the Emmy Award-winning series House of Cards in now available through Netflix streaming. The original series, which debuted last February, was a huge hit both critically and with subscribers to the service.     With the second season of the award-winning series House of Cards set to debut next week, Netflix has announced that a third season has been ordered. The show originally was slated for 26 episodes over two seasons and there had been some concern over whether it would go beyond that but now that has been put to rest.     Fox has announced the premiere date for the return of 24. The "limited series" will begin on May 5 with a two hour premiere and then air at 9PM for the rest of the 12 episode run on Mondays.
