    Along with the weekly roster update MLB The Show 17 also has quite a lot of new content to dig into within Diamond Dynasty mode as we head into Memorial Day Weekend. There are no players reaching the Diamond tier or dropping out of it though Miguel Cabrera (-2 to 90) has fallen dangerously close to being downgraded to Gold. J.D. Martinez (+2 to 86) is a new Gold.     This week's roster update for MLB The Show 17 features far more upgrades than downgrades, and a few relievers are the biggest winners of the week. Craig Kimbrel (+4 to 92) moves to Diamond status. The boost is credited primarily to his BB/9 rating which rose by 14 points. Kimbrel is 2-0 with 12 saves, .96 ERA, and stunning .43 WHIP. Greg Holland (+3 to 87) moves from Silver to Gold with the update. He received +5 to K/9 and +3 to BB/9. Holland leads the league by far in Saves with 18....

    It's Friday and for MLB The Show 17 that means a new roster update and Diamond Dynasty content. This week there's the addition of a Program and Flashback card tied to Mother's Day.     The second roster update for MLB The Show 17 went out today and it's an especially significant one as it delivers the first player ratings changes this year. Some impressive moves have been made by the likes of James Paxton, Bryce Harper, and Freddie Freeman. Paxton is up 5 points to 85 Overall taking him from Silver to Gold. The big lefty ace of the Mariners staff is 3-0 with a 1.39 ERA, .84 WHIP, and 39 stikeouts. In 4 of his 5 starts he's gone 6+ innings with no earned runs. Paxton rec...

    After having its release delayed a week the first roster update for MLB The Show 17 is now available to download. This update primarily focused on adding new players who have made their major league debuts this season. Once a player makes their first appearance in the big leagues they become part of the MLBPA and eligible for inclusion in the game.  (more…)...

    A major roster update went out earlier today in NBA 2K17 that includes significant ratings movement. It was just last month that James Harden was able to climb his way to the second best rating in NBA 2K17. A year ago at this time Harden was rated 89 and he began this season at 90.     NBA 2K17 has had two major updates affecting player ratings since last checking in on the rosters in late January. Back then Nikola Jokic was in the midst of a meteoric rise and that has since continued as he is up another 2 points now to 87 Overall.
