Given that the internet connection here is far from ideal for uploading videos I was only able to get a few through and processed for Madden 11, EA Sports MMA, and NCAA Football 11. Once back home tomorrow I'll start rolling out many more. I had nearly 50 minutes as of yesterday and will grab even more today. Continue on to check out the couple videos for now and leave your thoughts in the comments! (more…)...

In lieu of full impressions postings this evening, as I don't feel I have had enough time on the games yet to go that far, I wanted to at least drop some early thoughts and observations. Still working on videos and will get the Padrecast up very late tonight or in the morning. (more…)...

E3 is nearly here so I wanted to lay out the list of games anticipated to be in attendance as well as other details to plan on. The EA press conference takes place on Monday at 5ET/2PT. Keep an eye on the site for any news that comes out of that. The show floor opens up at 3ET/12PT on Tuesday where live updates will be delivered throughout and full articles will go up on the site in the evenings and mornings. E3 runs from Tuesday through Thursday. As always I will be delivering as much in t...

During a conference call earlier this week EA Sports laid out some of the games that they are expecting to have on display at E3 next month. It was not meant to be representative of a final list as the possibility remains for changes and the extent to which the games are shown may vary. For example last year NHL was at E3 but only behind closed doors. The usual suspects will be there with NCAA Football 11 and Madden 11 the most prominent. Those are expected to be offer full access on the sh...
  • E3: Backbreaker Preview

    Posted June 11th, 2009 at 12:02 am 80 Comments »
Originally announced back in August of 2007 Backbreaker wowed with early displays of its tackling engine known as Euphoria. Since then it has pretty much been in hibernation. Now though the game appears to be gearing up and intends to prove that it is still around to make an impact. While at E3 I had the chance to sit down with Rob Donald and Torstein Reil of Backbreaker for a look at the game and to talk about some of the thinking behind it. The meeting actually went for nearly an hour a...
