    FIFA 13 on the Nintendo Wii U offers a satisfying overall experience but inherently the unique features of the system are not completely natural to take advantage of during free-flowing gameplay. It looks and runs beautifully with the new hardware but a few features and gameplay enhancements are notable in their absence.   • NBA 2K MyLife Facebook Game Available Now

    Along with the mobile companion apps 2K Sports earlier promoted a Facebook game that would tie in with NBA 2K13's MyCareer mode. That Facebook game launched in recent days offering the opportunity to secure extra VC and unlock exclusive clothing, dunk packages, and players for Blacktop mode all for use in 2K13.  (more…)...

  • New Features Go Live on Madden NFL 13 Connected Careers Website

    EA Sports this week added some long-awaited functionality to the Connected Careers website for Madden NFL 13. Back when the website launched - read up on complete earlier impressions here - the sections for League, Teams, and Players were reserved for later. Now that they've gone live their purposes are evident and the additional options prove to add value to the site and it's reach into ongoing careers.  (more…)...

    The emergence of the NBA 2K series in recent years has only proved to illuminate the troubles with its online infrastructure. Excuses for the tremendously troubled performance and lacking features have been made that includes sales being more than anticipated, Dreamcast "tech and servers (NBA 2K11) being switched out, and Dreamcast code (NBA 2K12) being replaced.     The Madden franchise has faced intense criticism throughout this console generation and much of it has been warranted.
