    Posted December 14th, 2011 at 7:30 pm 17 Comments »
After five days of turmoil surrounding Chris Paul - which at one point had him headed to the Lakers only to have the NBA nix the deal - he is officially on the move. Paul will be playing in LA after all but instead it'll be for the Clippers. In exchange the Hornets receiveĀ Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu, and the unprotected first round pick of Minnesota's. It's a huge haul for New Orleans considering they had next to no leverage in making a deal for Paul but still got both the...

Nothing is official yet but once the complete deal is written up it will still take a few days for it to be presented to a vote on both sides. If the majority approve that would then bring about a period for free agency and other matters before the planned 66 game season would begin on Christmas. Obviously 2K Sports would be catch...

Today the NBPA announced they have rejected the NBA's final labor offer and have filed a notice of disclaimer. The Player's Association is disbanding, avoiding the decertification process which would have taken 45 days, and the players now become a trade organization. That allows for anti-trust action to be taken immediately as things will now move to the courts and be handled by lawyers with no further collective bargaining. The court process will be a lengthy one - many analysts have op...
