    When MLB The Show 18 releases in March the cover of the game will feature a player setting a few firsts for the series. Aaron Judge becomes the first New York Yankees player to appear on the cover. It's also the first time that the cover athlete is coming off a rookie season.     Player ratings took a backseat this week in MLB The Show 17 as no one over 80 was affected by a change. The roster update instead primarily focused on player movement, with transactions in the lead up to and through the trade deadline reflected such as Yu Darvish to the Dodgers and Sonny Gray to the Yankees.     With a stat line this season of .365, 15 HR, 59 RBI, and 21 SB the biggest star on the team with the best record in the AL has been moved up to 99 Overall in MLB The Show 17. Jose Altuve joins Mike Trout and Clayton Kershaw as the only active players in the game rated 99.
