One issue that was being seen with the launch of NCAA Basketball 10 was with the dynamic update not coming through. That meant a lack of authentic schedules and the inability to play online if experiencing a download error. EA has since fixed this by providing a working update to bypass the error however it does not include the authentic schedules. After contacting EA for information on this I have been informed that the first real dynamic update will be released next Tuesday morning. Thi...

While NCAA Basketball 10 released today it has been difficult for many to find copies. Apparently some shipping issues have kept it from reaching stores and it will be arriving in most locations tomorrow. One person who was able to get a copy is Chris Jacobs over at ncaaStrategies. He has been posting some impressions up and plans to get some more videos up soon (one after the break). Head over and check out this thread to read through and ask any questions about the game. As noted when the official fact sheet from EA Sports for NCAA Basketball 10 was released it lacked mention of the "Dynamic Updates" that had been included on the features list. With less than a week until release they have finally come out and discussed this feature. You can check out the full blog here. With these updates you will also get the latest top 25 and RPI for all teams featured in the game. These updates are showcased in-game on all relevant broadcast overlays as well as in the D...

Yesterday brought the release of the NCAA Basketball 10 demo (at least for those with a 360) and I posted up my initial impressions of the after spending some time with it. You can check out that article here. In addition to the impressions I wanted to get a few HD videos of the demo up. These are played on All-Conference difficulty controlling Duke and using the default broadcast camera. Continue on to watch the videos and leave your thoughts in the comments. (more…)...
  • NCAA Basketball 10 Demo Impressions

Generally it takes a few times through to get a good feel for a sports game from a demo. However because of the similarities to NBA Live 10 the demo for NCAA Basketball 10 comes across as ultra accessible and familiar. Naturally much of what my impressions entail will be comparisons and contrasts between the two EA basketball games. Featured in the demo is a five minute half with North Carolina @ Duke with the CBS presentation package. The demo is structured well enough to get a good feel...
  • EA Modifies NCAA Basketball 10 Demo Availability

EA Sports has sent out a press release announcing the availability of the NCAA Basketball 10 demo. It is now available for the 360. While it has not shown up in the "New Arrivals" section it can be found by going to "All Game Demos" and searching by the letter 'N'. What is most stunning out of the press release is a change to when the PS3 will be receiving the demo. The NCAA Basketball 10 website has been clearly advertising the release of the demo as November 6th for several weeks. Howev...

With the demo for NCAA Basketball 10 slated to release tomorrow EA Sports has revealed some details on what to expect out of it. The demo will be a single five minute half and will feature North Carolina @ Duke. The CBS presentation package will be featured. While five minutes still isn't an ideal length for a demo at least they didn't break it into multiple even shorter segments. With this setup there should be enough consecutive gametime to get into a flow and begin to evaluate it. The ...
  • NCAA Basketball 10 Fact Sheet

EA Sports has released the full fact sheet for NCAA Basketball 10. The fact sheet contains the information provided to retailers and reviewers. While there is nothing new compared to the features list it does go into a little more detail for each area. The most disappointing thing about the fact sheet is the complete absence of the "dynamic updates" which is the only thing that hasn't been detailed to this point. According to the website the demo for the game will be out on Friday but as ...
