    It has been an eventful time for the upcoming EA Sports MMA. While the game isn't slated to release until mid-2010 it has its unofficial coming out party over the course of the last week.     During the Strikeforce event this evening EA Sports revealed the first trailer for EA MMA. As was announced on Friday the game features Strikeforce as a premier league and several fighters from the promotion are already lined up for the game.     Considering the unveiling of EA MMA during the Strikeforce event tomorrow night it comes as little surprise that the Strikeforce organization will be featured as a premier league in the game. In addition to that announcement two new fighters have joined the roster in Brett Rogers and Jake Shields.     With the building promotion of the upcoming EA MMA (which is aiming for a release next summer) the roster continues to be the early focus. Without access to the UFC license that has left EA Sports to sign fighters individually and from a pool limited to those not under contract with UFC at the time of attempted signing.     Earlier this week much was made of the announcement that Fedor Emelianenko was signed to the EA MMA game, though it had been public knowledge for over a month. Despite the threat of bans from the UFC for anyone aligning themselves with EA he was being hotly recruited by UFC.     UFC 100 may be over, but UFC president, Dana White is keeping the action going by waging a war on EA Sports.
