    The first themed promotional week for MLB The Show 18 focused on gameplay and the second was on features. This week is all about presentation. Mark DeRosa of MLB Network is the new personality joining the commentary team replacing Harold Reynolds.     While details have so far been scarce regarding the improvements coming for MLB The Show 18 those will be coming over the next six weeks in themed roll-outs. This week is centered on gameplay, with info on changes to the hitting engine, an all-new tagging engine, and enhanced catcher AI and animations.     Nearly one year ago Disc Jam released on PlayStation 4 and PC and today marks another landmark for the game as it arrives on the Nintendo Switch. Disc Jam is probably best described as a combination of tennis and air hockey and is reminiscent of the 90's game Windjammers.     Typically the first news and trailer for MLB The Show comes in early December but it was a much longer wait for MLB The Show 18 as some vague details on features and the first look at the game arrived today.     It was a long wait of 25 years since the original Mutant League Football released to get a sequel or in this case a "spiritual successor" but that day has finally come. Mutant Football League has now reached consoles after first coming out in late 2017 just on PC.
