EA Sports today released an official trailer for the Nintendo Wii U version of Madden NFL 13. The game is set to release next week in advance of the console arriving on Sunday, November 18. There has been very little in the way of promotion when it comes to the upcoming sports titles for the Wii U from either EA (Madden, FIFA 13) or 2K Sports (NBA 2K13). For the most part the games are offering a few ways in which to take advantage of the tablet controller while omitting some features tha...

With the Wii U there will will of course be features unique to the system for games like Madden NFL 13, NBA 2K13, and FIFA 13 but they'll also be lacking some that are found on the Xbox 360 and PS3. Just a few examples as it relates to Madden 13 is the lack of the "Infinity engine" physics or Ultimate ...

It can even provide a quick view of the state of the players on the court - their fatigue levels and whether they're on hot or cold streaks - with the biometric scan feature. Continue on for the video which includes continuous gameplay footage ...

EA Sports today officially announced Madden NFL 13 for the Wii U. The game will feature authentic gameplay in HD - not the gimmicky visuals or gameplay style of the Wii. It will include many of the same core gameplay improvements that are present in the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of game, the full Connected Careers mode that essentially combines Franchise and Superstar, and the new commentary team of Jim Nantz and Phil Simms.
