Multiple reports have now surfaced that a demo for NBA Live 15 will not be out prior to release and instead will go out on the game's release day of October 28. This is the case despite EA Sports having implied over the summer that not only would there be a demo but it would go out super early and that the company had other various ways planned for people to get their hands on the game. Whether EA was intentionally misleading (quite possible considering their PR tactics with the franchise i...
  • EA Showing No Urgency for What May Be Make or Break Year for NBA Live

NBA Live 15 is due out in under two weeks and in just eight days it'll be made available through EA Access on Xbox One. Most wouldn't really know it though with the lack of promotion it has received and all attention going towards the competition. EA has largely shielded Live 15 from consumer. Rather than show off gameplay they've pushed screenshots and information like player ratings, team rankings and the soundtrack.  (more…)...

EA Sports has released the full list of songs that are included in NBA Live 15. The soundtrack has been put together by MICK who was also involved with Live 14. No promises have been made that new songs will be added throughout the season - as was the case with Live 14 and never fulfilled - but it wouldn't be surprising if it were to happen this time around. You can listen to the playlist through Soundcloud here. The soundtrack is made up of mostly unknowns and that could be refreshing ...
  • EA Making Server Stability a Selling Point of NBA Live 15

It's certainly no coincidence that while NBA 2K15 struggles with its servers, resulting in inaccessible modes or some that have yet to function properly at all, that EA Sports has come out to proclaim their upcoming game will not experience similar problems. A few mentions from the company related to NBA Live 15 lately have raised eyebrows. It's an area where they can take advantage but the same could have been said last year and they failed to do so.  (more…)...

EA Sports today released a new video spotlighting some of the improvements being delivered in NBA Live 15 specific to the offensive side of the ball. The company has yet to do much of anything to demonstrate how Live 15 will be a better product than last year's but the examples noted here are a good start at attempting to communicate them. The video shows where work has been done to enhance passing, dribbling, shooting, and contact animations. The three week delay has NBA Live 15 set to re...

NBA Live troubles continue for EA Sports who have apparently delayed Live 15 until October 28. The new date appears on the game's official website - which previously promoted the original October 7 date - without the company actually making a corresponding announcement (it has since come down).  (more…)...

With just five weeks until release EA Sports appears finally ready to begin promoting NBA Live 15 with a debut trailer focusing on the visuals and the first feature details. Improvements in visuals are just about the only thing the company discussed this summer and until now they didn't show much to try and back it up. Even still this first substantial news on features is only accompanied by 39 seconds worth of trailer. With zero credibility and having let down the few who were actually wil...
