    With just one day before early release through Season Ticket - the download goes live Friday at 1PM ET/10AM PT - EA Sports has released a new blog going over the option game in NCAA Football 14. The addition of the pitch and read icons, improvements to blocking, runner cutbacks, CPU decision making, and how the defense plays the option are all briefly touched upon in the post which also includes some video examples showing the improvements in action....

    One of the greatest all-around athletes in history - and the one most remembered for his impact on football video games - is making a return with NCAA Football 14.     In recent years a number of retailers have offered up their own incentives for purchasing NCAA Football to go along with the pre-order bonuses provided to them by EA Sports. For example last year Amazon simply dropped the price of the game to $45 for pre-orders and the year prior they offered up a $20 promotional credit.   • Aaron Hernandez Charged With Murder; Will Affect Both Football Games This Year

    Earlier today Aaron Hernandez was cut by the New England Patriots after being arrested and later charged with first degree murder and five other counts relating to firearms. Not only does that mean he'll have to be pulled out of the rosters in Madden NFL 25 but an appearance in NCAA Football 14 will also need to be scrapped by EA Sports.  (more…)...

    Based on the results of the poll posted last week the demo for NCAA Football 14 has proven valuable for consumers who may have been on the fence about a purchase and beneficial for EA Sports in creating some encouraging word-of-mouth in the weeks leading up to release.
