    The fourth content update for NBA Playgrounds went out today on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Nintendo Switch version has still received only the very first patch. This update brings another 45 players to the roster taking the total added post-release to 128. Additionally a new expansion pack called "Hot 'N Frosty" is being offered for $10 and includes eight rookies, three new playgrounds and tournaments.     The first patch for NBA Live 18 to address some community feedback since release went live earlier today.     The patch for NBA 2K18 that has just gone live on PlayStation 4 will be out on Xbox One today, while both PC and Nintendo Switch are being framed only as arriving "soon." This update to 2K18 doesn't address the major issue of MyPlayers that have vanished or change the way in which VC affects the game given the heavy backlash the game is receiving, but it does take care of one of the biggest in-game problems that had been widely reported.     EA Sports today released the first patch for NHL 18 which comes right on the heels of last week's release meaning it had been in the works for some time. It's a significant update touching on practically every area of the game. Notable is the addition of division realignment to Franchise Mode and a few new uniforms but there are a considerable number of improvements that have been made to gameplay and online that could have major impact.  (more…)...

    Two big areas of gameplay scrutinized through community feedback have been addressed in the first patch for Madden NFL 18 which went out earlier this morning. The awareness of players in zone coverage and the effectiveness of the pass rush have been worked on following concerns expressed out of early gameplay videos and the first few days of release.     With two significant patches already out for NBA Playgrounds the development team at Saber Interactive has been working towards another content update which is already out on PS4 and PC and expected soon for Xbox One. Featured in the latest patch is a brand new online three-point shootout mode and another 33 new players.     When The Golf Club 2 released it faced major problems due to its servers which rendered the game largely unplayable for three days. Thankfully ever since it's been functional and stable but there remained some ways in which the performance could be improved.
