    Another significant patch is rolling out for NBA Playgrounds - available already on PS4 and PC and coming soon to Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.     Work continues to try and fix various issues with MLB The Show 17 besides its continued server struggles. Earlier updates to MLB 17 delivered adjustments to AI manager decision-making, fixes for gameplay and presentation, the initial improvements made to gameplay, miscellaneous changes, plus a few early online and uniform fixes.     Two weeks ago when NBA Playgrounds released there was real potential identified in the game that was unfortunately held back by some gameplay and design missteps.     Another patch went live today for MLB The Show 17 weighing in at a light 47MB. Earlier updates to MLB 17 delivered continued fixes for gameplay and presentation, initial improvements to gameplay, miscellaneous adjustments, plus a few online and uniform fixes. The biggest change in this one relates to the "manager hook logic" in dealing with the CPU's handling of pitchers and the use of pinch hitters.   (more…)...

    Six weeks to the day after release and MLB The Show 17 has received its fourth patch. Online and server related issues are still plaguing it but developers continue to drill down on improving other areas of the game. Earlier updates to MLB 17 delivered some improvements to gameplay, miscellaneous adjustments, plus a few online and uniform fixes.
