    Missouri junior QB Blaine Gabbert has announced intentions to enter the 2011 NFL Draft. Gabbert is currently projected as a first round pick and could possibly land in the top 10. He could be the second QB off the board if Andrew Luck forgoes his senior year of eligibility and enters the draft as well. Gabbert threw for 3186 yards on 63% completions with 16 TDs to 9 INTs.     With the regular season now complete the order for the 2011 NFL Draft is set up through pick 20. Tie records are broken due to strength of schedule. The two losers of the Conference Championship games pick 29th and 30th, the loser in the Super Bowl picks 31st, and the winner of the Super Bowl picks 32nd.     Two significant trades today have shifted a large number of players in the NBA and the Orlando Magic were involved in both of them. They have received Gilbert Arenas, Jason Richardson, Earl Clark, and Hedo Turkoglu. They send away Vince Carter, Marcin Gortat, and Mickael Pietrus to the Phoenix Suns and Rashard Lewis to the Wizards.     In a surprise development free agent pitcher Cliff Lee has spurned both the Yankees and the Rangers and has signed with the Philadelphia Phillies. Lee played part of 2009 with the team helping lead them to the World Series and then was traded away in the offseason to make room for Roy Halladay. One year later and he will be joining him there.     Randy Moss has been awarded to the Tennessee Titans off waivers. The Titans were 22nd in line to nab him meaning the 21 teams ahead of them passed on the opportunity to bring in Moss. The team is on a bye this weekend which will allow time to integrate Moss and get him settled. Though not one of the teams initially linked to Moss he could take their offense to another level.     Randy Moss was cut today by the Minnesota Vikings just three weeks after being traded for a third round pick. He hits the market as a hot commodity based on talent but one that many teams will see as a poor fit due to age and being a locker room disruption.     No matter how much everyone would like the NFL to open up the league license to multiple parties for video games hopes of that happening may have taken a hit due to today's developments. The NFL has struck new exclusive contracts with Nike for on-field apparel including uniforms, sideline apparel, and fan gear while New Era will be the sole provider of headwear.     The Vikings have officially traded for WR Randy Moss bringing him back to where his career began in 1998. In exchange the Patriots received a third round draft pick. Given the magnitude of this move it will be worked into this week's Madden 11 roster update. (more…)...
