The MLB season has been underway for two weeks and finally MLB 2K12's main new mode has started to look like what was advertised. Having on two occasions now detailed that MLB Today Season was not even functioning it was critical that 2K Sports get it running properly. MLB 2K12 Perfect Game Contest Begins
With MLB 2K10 and 2K11 the $1 million Perfect Game Contest ended just about as soon as they got underway. Despite promotion that continued for months both contests were won on the first day. That wont be happening with MLB 2K12. The contest, which opened up this morning, runs through the end of the month and will award those who pitch the eight "best" Perfect Games over the period with a trip to compete in a live single-elimination tournament for the grand prize.

MLB 12: The Show won out in the player face battle against MLB 2K12 by a greater margin than originally anticipated. Though once again each game had their share of faces that turned out better than the opposition 2K12 had far more that were missed on in and usually in embarrassing fashion. Over 41,000 total votes were cast and the final tally comes in at 21-6 in favor of The Show.
