Along with the latest patch out this morning new content in the form of additions to Diamond Dynasty and the weekly roster update have gone live in MLB The Show 17. The updates are significant as the new roster includes some major changes to ratings moving players up or down a tier while the Players of the Month for May have been introduced to Diamond Dynasty. Work continues to try and fix various issues with MLB The Show 17 besides its continued server struggles. Earlier updates to MLB 17 delivered adjustments to AI manager decision-making, fixes for gameplay and presentation, the initial improvements made to gameplay, miscellaneous changes, plus a few early online and uniform fixes. After a relatively uneventful roster update last week in MLB The Show 17 today's is another that doesn't rattle the standing of the most highly rated players in the league. The movement primarily affects players moving into or up within the Silver tier. New Program in Diamond Dynasty is finally free of online H2H requirements
The latest addition to MLB The Show 17 Diamond Dynasty will be a relief to those who would prefer to avoid playing head-to-head online games. A new Program has launched for Impact Veteran Roy Oswalt. This becomes the only Program that doesn't necessitate playing online opponents to meet specific win and statistical goals. Along with the weekly roster update MLB The Show 17 also has quite a lot of new content to dig into within Diamond Dynasty mode as we head into Memorial Day Weekend. There are no players reaching the Diamond tier or dropping out of it though Miguel Cabrera (-2 to 90) has fallen dangerously close to being downgraded to Gold. J.D. Martinez (+2 to 86) is a new Gold. Another patch went live today for MLB The Show 17 weighing in at a light 47MB. Earlier updates to MLB 17 delivered continued fixes for gameplay and presentation, initial improvements to gameplay, miscellaneous adjustments, plus a few online and uniform fixes.
