    MLB 15: The Show gamers continue to wait with baited breath for the huge roster update that Sony San Diego had promised would come around the All-Star break since last month. After very few changes were made in last week's update, many were anticipating the significant re-rating of the entire league to drop this week. While there were a number of changes in the latest one, it was not the update that is being so hotly anticipated by the community.  (more…)...

    The July 6th roster update for MLB 15: The Show contained only 32 updates making it the "calm before the storm". During a pre-E3 stream put on by the development team at Sony San Diego, mention was made that a “wholesale update similar to what we do in between annual releases” will be completed around the All-Star break. That was already highly anticipated but now even more so with this latest roster update delivering so little.  (more…)...

    The roster update on June 22nd for MLB 15: The Show has brought with it an onslaught of hot corner upgrades. In the last Market Report we examined the fall of Adrian Beltre which made Josh Donaldson the highest overall rated third baseman. This week, Donaldson went even higher, and broke into the "Diamond" tier with his new 93 Overall rating.  (more…)...

    With the June 8th roster update for MLB 15: The Show a 'Diamond' player received an update to their Overall Rating for the first time this season. Diamondbacks’ 1B Paul Goldschmidt jumped from a 94 to a 97 thanks to his stellar start which finds him hitting .343 with 16 homers and 47 RBI. On the flip side, Rangers’ 3B Adrian Beltre dropped out of the Diamond tier after falling from 93 to 89 due to an average of only .257 and a trip to the DL. (more…)...

    The May 25th roster update to MLB 15: The Show is out and it's brought with it the latest shake-up to Diamond Dynasty Mode. With the addition of the 'Baller' and 'Prime Time Player' packs and now this new roster update it’s been a hectic week in the world of the virtual player marketplace and the team-building that goes along with it.   • New Expensive Packs Added to MLB 15: The Show For Limited Time

    This morning Sony San Diego dropped two new packs into the MLB 15: The Show Diamond Dynasty Store and they are causing quite a ruckus on social media given how they've altered the in-game market. Those playing Diamond Dynasty know packs in general have been a very poor investment but the two new ones look to change that. They are the ‘Prime Time Pack’ and the ‘Ballers Pack’ - both available only for a limited time.  (more…)...

    The May 11th roster update for MLB 15: The Show is out and the changes made have shaken up the market in Diamond Dynasty Mode. The update includes two changes that even affect the players required to complete team collections. Zack Greinke has jumped from an Overall Rating of 89 to 92. That eliminates the need to acquire him to finish the Dodgers Collection and receive the team's legend Orel Hershiser. The Rockies Collection however will now require Carlos Gonzalez with his drop from 8...

    One of the things that allows MLB 15: The Show's Diamond Dynasty to stand out among the card collecting modes of other sports titles was the decision to use "living" cards. Rather than putting out updated versions of players on a regular basis, Diamond Dynasty cards can change week to week depending on how well, or poorly, their real life counterpart is playing.
